Claudia has been an invaluable part of Shell & Shell for 17 years. Having lived in Burnet County for 28 years and graduating from Marble Falls High School, Claudia has strong ties to the Hill Country and to the Hispanic community. Claudia speaks fluent Spanish, and you will often see her in court acting as our interpreter. When you call Shell & Shell, Claudia is usually the voice on the other end of the line. She will see that you are directed to the appropriate legal assistant or attorney handling your case, as Claudia is our primary receptionist.
Nicole graduated from Burnet High School in 2003. Nicole began her path in the legal field just after high school. She worked for the Burnet District Court from 2004 to 2012 as the chief deputy district clerk. There, she learned the procedural nuances of the judicial system and developed a great working relationship with local attorneys, court administrators, and judges in our area, adding a unique perspective to our firm. Nicole joined Shell & Shell in 2013 and works primarily as Bobbi Shell’s paralegal and “right hand,” with a focus on divorce, and custody cases, while also often assisting in trial. Clients welcome her kind demeanor, and her understanding of the legal process allows her to keep clients informed as their case progresses.
Juliana graduated from Marble Falls High School in 2003. Prior to joining Shell & Shell in 2013, Julie was in the banking industry for 6 years, where she was an associate manager. At Shell & Shell, Julie handles criminal cases almost exclusively, focusing on misdemeanors and felony cases. Anywhere you see Eddie Shell, Julie won’t be far behind, as he relies on her as a trusted resource and diligent legal assistant. Julie also interacts with many of our Spanish-speaking clients, as she speaks fluent Spanish. She attends court 3-4 days per week, where she interacts with clients and schedules settings with court coordinators. While at the office, Julie assists the attorneys in keeping clients informed as to the status of their cases and upcoming court dates and ensures clients view all discoveries in their cases.
Tracy has an associate's degree in applied science from Dallas and worked extensively in the medical field, both clinically and administratively, prior to joining Shell & Shell in 2016. Tracy mostly works alongside Austin Shell as his paralegal and his primary trial assistant. Tracy interacts with many of our clients daily and attends court several days a week. While in the office, Tracy primarily also handles trial preparations for cases that will likely go before a jury by organizing the evidence and coordinating witnesses and expert testimony.
Candyce grew up in Marble Falls, Texas, and has deep-rooted family ties to the hill country community. She offers a wide range of experiences, including that of a stay-at-home mom when her children were small, restaurant and retail experience, and she also previously worked in the Burnet County District Clerk’s Office as a clerk. We were lucky to have her join the Shell firm in 2021. Candyce’s primary role is that of Austin Shell’s assistant, focusing primarily on felony cases. You will see Candyce in court several days per week. While in the office, Candyce helps coordinate client meetings, updates clients on court dates, assists in ensuring clients view discovery/evidence and assists in ensuring clients are compliant with their bonds.
Shaden is a native of the area, as she graduated from Marble Falls High School in 2017. She went on to attend Abilene Christian University and earned her bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Spanish in May of 2021. Shortly after graduating, Shaden joined Shell & Shell. She assists our family attorneys on divorce, custody, and child support cases. Shaden also interacts with many of our Spanish-speaking clients, as she speaks fluent Spanish. She enjoys lending a helping hand wherever she can. While in the office, Shaden assists clients by keeping them up to date on their cases and assisting attorney-client communications, so our clients can feel well-informed throughout the process.
